The lack of respect for life that permits abortion significantly contributes to our violent culture and our careless attitude toward liberty.”

Actions: Paul voted AGAINST barring the transport of minors to get an abortion (1999), FOR banning partial-birth abortions (2000), FOR banning family planning funding in US aid abroad (2001), FOR funding health providers who don’t provide abortion information (2002), FOR banning partial-birth abortions except to save a mother’s life (2003), and AGAINST restricting interstate transport of minors to get abortions (2005). NARAL Pro-Choice America has given Paul a rating of 65%. Planned Parenthood has given him a rating of 20%.
