John EdwardsWords: Edwards believes that trade unions are vital for the future of American workers and has supported numerous pro-union proposals. He feels that jobs should be brought to where they are most needed and supports a higher minimum wage. He advocates supporting our farmers, but ending “subsidies for millionaire farmers”.

Actions: Edwards voted AGAINST tabling an increase in the minimum wage (1999) and AGAINST repealing the ergonomic rules on repetitive stress (2001). The AFL-CIO has given him a rating of 100%.
