Withdrawn / Clinton on Technology/Infrastructure
Words: Clinton argues that infrastructure investment both creates jobs and improves security and advocates the development of the biotech industry. She supports “net neutrality” and feels that there is a “digital divide” that needs to be bridged in terms of equal opportunity for access to technology and that teachers need more training for its use in the classroom. She has also suggested regulating the sexual content of video games.
Actions: Clinton voted FOR disallowing FCC approval of large media conglomerates (2003) and AGAINST restoring $550 million in funding for Amtrak (2006).
