Words: Clinton has expressed a personal opposition to abortion, but is a staunch defender of choice, though she opposes late-term abortion. She advocates the acceptance and availability of education and contraception to prevent unwanted pregnancy. “I am and always have been pro-choice, and that is not a right any of us should take for granted.”

Actions: Clinton voted AGAINST banning partial birth abortion except to save a mother’s life (2003), FOR funding to reduce teen pregnancy through education and contraception. (2005), and AGAINST notifying parents of minors who get out-of-state abortions (2006). NARAL Pro-Choice America has given Clinton a rating of 36%.
