Words: Kucinich strongly opposes privatizing Social Security and feels that the retirement age should be returned to 65. He also feels that we should strengthen protections for private pensions.
Actions: Kucinich voted FOR strengthening the Social Security lockbox (1999), FOR reducing tax payments on Social Security benefits (2000), and AGAINST raising 401(k) limits and making pension plans more portable (2001). The ARA has given him a rating of 100%.
