Words: Kucinich is a strong supporter of workers’ rights and is am advocate of effective unionization. He believes we should rebuild out infrastructure with program’s like FDR’s WPA. He also believes we should invest in rural America and that we should shift USDA funds from agribusiness to small farmers. He feels we should cancel NAFTA and withdraw from the WTO to benefit family farmers.

Actions: Kucinich voted AGAINST zero-funding OSHA’s Ergonomics Rules instead of $4.5 billion (2001), AGAINST $167 billion over ten years for farm price supports (2001), AGAINST ending offshore tax havens (2004), FOR increasing the minimum wage to $7.25 (2007), and FOR restricting employer interference in union organizing (2007). The AFL-CIO has given him a rating of 100%.
